Join the Cyber City Cyber Security Learning Experience in 2023

Designed to align with the iSTEM Cyber Security specialised topic found in the new Stage 5, NSW Department of Education Approved Elective iSTEM Course, schools, for the pilot program, will be required to deliver the Cyber City, cyber security learning program, for this iSTEM Specialised topic.

It is envisaged that the Cyber City learning experience will be rolled out in other states following the adoption of the new Australian curriculum for Foundation to Year 10.

If you would like to keep abreast of these developments and the outcome of the pilot program, we recommend completing the Register Your Interest form at the bottom of this page and select the ‘keep in touch’ option for 2023.

Teachers and schools participating in the pilot will receive:

The learning program – A complete learning program inlcuding: scope and sequence, learning activities, resources, assessment and support
Cyber City kit - The technology backbone infrastructure to establish the smart city, sandbox environment in your classroom
Support and training – A combination of video tutorials, online message boards and telephone support when needed.
Where possible, educators will be buddied up with a local cyber security professional to assist them in learning Cyber security language, terms, and technology.
